Vivian has extensive experience supporting children from preschool to secondary years with a wide range of speech, language, and social communication needs. She has a strong background in both private practice and school settings and specializes in working with late talkers as well as children with developmental language disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Vivian values early intervention and provides individualized support and training to help children meet their functional communication goals.
In her sessions, Vivian integrates principles from the Hanen More Than Words® Program and DIRFloortime® to promote language and social communication development through meaningful, play-based interactions with young children.
Vivian is passionate about leading social skills groups. She has broad experience facilitating Social Thinking® and Peers® group and designing functional, engaging activities that strengthen students' social communication and executive functioning.
Believing that children thrive with strong family involvement, Vivian offers parent training to help caregivers apply effective communication strategies in everyday routines and play, fostering natural and lasting language development.
